Bridget is the practice manager. She opened Ocuco Opticians in 1986. She is extremely proactive in fitting all types of contact lenses to any age and prescription.
She feels that the market for contact lenses can be expanded to many more patients from children to presbyopes, and many opportunities are currently missed.
She has a large continuous wear and presbyopic patient base and is keen on imaging and video capture for enhanced patient education.
Thomas Abberton
Thomas qualified as an optometrist in 1994 after studying at Aston University.
In 1998 he chose to further his education and, in doing so, gained his MSc diploma in 2001.
His chosen modules, studied at Bradford University were ocular therapeutics, ocular pathology, and low vision with ageing.
Catherine Naughton
Catherine is the newest member of the Practice, having joined as Receptionist in June 2002.
Catherine brings many years of Administrative experience to the post, and enjoys the people contact that the 'front of house' working position offers.
Away from work, she spends much of her free time on the quiet pursuits of oil painting, Pilates and countryside walking.
